We often hear so many people say “you just need to change your mindset” or “you just need to change your outlook on life”. The fact of the matter is, changing your mindset isn’t a quick and easy thing to do, especially if a habit or pattern has become so ingrained within our subconsciousness that it knows no different. We are wired to act consistent with our beliefs, and if those beliefs are deeply embedded, not much will change if all we have is a bit of daily willpower.
Here are a couple of examples of negative patterns Hypnotherapists typically see:
Lack of self-worth - telling yourself you’re not good enough
Reaching for the next cigarette even though you know it’s bad for you
Stopping yourself from making change because you’re scared of what the outcome will be
Obsessing over your body and how it looks
Lacking confidence and afraid to speak up or do something differently
Hypnotherapy has been used to tap into our subconscious mind to reframe and rewire those negative beliefs. Within my hypnotherapy practice, I use a technique called Rapid Transformational Therapy, which is designed to go a little bit deeper and trigger rapid change.
Rapid transformational therapy can help you change your mindset by uncovering what the root cause of your issue is and revealing those beliefs that perhaps caused this mindset outlook to occur in the first place. Through a powerful session tapping into the subconscious mind we start to change the way you see things that have happened in your past, we let go of the beliefs you have attached to them. We work to reconnect and reclaim the mind and inner voice you were born with.
So whilst working on your mindset every day is a good idea, to experience a true shift in mindset and to rewrite those beliefs you might not even have been consciously aware of, rapid transformational therapy might be necessary.
Recently, I’ve seen a number of clients come to me for support in attaining a growth mindset. Something is keeping them stuck, something is stopping them from progressing to the growth they want to achieve.
I want to share a short story with you now,
And it involves Spaghetti… stick with me!
Different groups of people (children, teachers, professionals, students, managers) are given one assignment. They are given 15 minutes to build the tallest spaghetti building.
Can you guess which group won?
The children! The other groups spent so much time, thinking and theorising that they didn’t make much progress. On the other hand, the children jumped right in, they weren’t afraid to make mistakes they just knew that they had to get started and take those first steps.
So, what does that have to do with a growth mindset?
When I explain to my clients that to experience that growth, they need to let go of that fear, the panic, the worry about getting it wrong to be able to take the steps forward. That’s where the puzzle pieces begin to fall into play and often the need for rapid transformational therapy becomes apparent.
They need help to rewire those thought patterns and change their mindset, but first they need to discover those thoughts and beliefs that have been shaping their mindset and holding them back.
If you need help stepping into your growth mindset or whatever mindset issue you might be facing, if you’re ready to unblock those subconscious beliefs that are holding you back, book a free discovery call to discuss how Rapid Transformational Hypnotherapy could support you.
